Helsinki Planning Thread

We need to pick a date and time between July 17 and July 19 and a location.

We'd be happy to include others from the Nordic region in the celebration.

Unfortunately, unless the meetup is in Padasjoki on the 17th or in Jyväskylä on the 19th (Jyväskylä would be great too, but it is pretty far from Helsinki), I will not be able to attend, as I'll be taking part in Päijänne-purjehdus.

Actually, I could do an early Friday or a late Sunday date in Helsinki too, but it would be far from optimal either way.

I've been thinking of suggesting the 16th at Pori Jazz ;p

but I suppose we could adjust it a day? I've to be in the UK on the 17th myself

we could claim time zone fuzziness?

Okay its getting closer to the dates, how about the 14th of July? its a bit removed from MeFi's official dates but might be doable? In Helsinki proper, some place central with open air seating?

alternately, to hell with all this planning, how about a beer at Henrys Pub/Place (whatever) at Kamppi this weekend? I'm gonna be there at 5pm tomorrow anyway (3 july)
