Albuquerque Planning Thread

We're long overdue for a meetup! I know we've got at least a few MeFites in the area. So, first off we need to pick a date and time between July 17 and July 19 and a location.

The 17th or 18th seems like it'd work best. As for location, we have a couple members of the Albuquerque Press Club here, including myself. So, if that's one option. Provided we have fewer than about 20 people, we can just all show up. If it's going to be larger than that we'll have to make arrangements in advance there or somewhere else. Thoughts? Anyone else interested?

Okay, so I'm gonna make it officially 8pm Friday, July 17th at the Albuquerque Press Club which is on the hill behind Memorial hospital off Central near I-25. Map.

I've followed these directions by not clicking the button since this box does not appear on my screen and I thus could not click on it.

Note: Everyone needs a 10th anniversary party.

This is going to be the theme for my next party. All my guests will be very confused.

Do you need to sign in as the guest of a member? Or can you just go in?

You're supposed to sign in as the guest of a member, but that's not really very well-enforced. Just sign in under my name when you get there: Gabe Ortiz.

Okay so the Press Club is apparently having some problems with the local Fire Marshall, so they're temporarily limited to a max capacity of 49 people. There's a chance we might not be able to have the meetup there after all. However seeing how this is pretty short notice, I suggest we still rendezvous there and see how it goes. We can relocate somewhere nearby if necessary. If you find yourself lost or unable to locate us, call my cell phone: [phone].
