After Party?

Issues. Please read the thread.

I'm starting a new thread rather than commenting in the old one in the hopes that more people see this. As I mentioned in-thread yesterday, my dog's in the animal hospital. He was put on an IV at noon yesterday and requires one for at least 48 hours. Thing is - the vet closes at 2 pm today, so I have to pick him up after only just over 24. If he's still not drinking anything on Monday morning, I then have to return him back to the vet. The emergency hospital isn't really an option as it would run me around $1500. So... I have someone watching him at my place while we're at the bar, but I'm pretty sure it's irresponsible for me to bring a party back here after the bar. Having said that, there are some people who've planned on this so they can grab the first GO tomorrow morning.

Two things - bring your backpack booze in case my dog is drinking again on his own when I pick him up later. In that case, we can party here. Failing that, for those who need to wait for the GO to re-open, perhaps they can chill out in my place? It's two floors and my bedroom is upstairs. You can drink, listen to music, smoke whatever you'd like...

I feel right fuckin' awful. Sorry.

Sorry to hear about your dog, hope he makes a full recovery. Speaking as a (relatively) old fart, it might be best if I resist the temptation to stay up past last call, anyway...

Oh, your awesome dog! I hope he's OK.

Don't worry about the after-party: we'll put all our energy into the pre-party.

The pre-party is the bottle of wine you drink before the party, I think you might be thinking of the party-party

I'm having risotto for supper/pre-party, but I don't think there's going to be a full bottle of wine in it. Should I recalibrate?

My pre-party is slogging through a report due this past Friday Monday morning. :/ Really want to finish more of it before heading off to the par-tay.
