Prudhoe Bay Planning Thread

We need to pick a date and time between July 17 and July 19 (it'll be at the PBOC unless someone has a better idea).

Ok, I live in Portland but I have to be at work for this meetup (again). I'm bumming about it, but I'm going to make the best of it and hope that just one of the mods will make it.

Anyway, I'll be at the PBOC throughout these dates if any MeFites are up there during this time. If not, well, there'll be a one-person meetup on the Arctic Ocean.

I just want to say I love this. I was the attendee at a meetup-for-one in a remote location, too. Hope another MeFite can make it so you don't have to go through the whole bar tab yourself!

Unfortunately it's a dry location. I might get into the NyQuil, though.

PBOC = Prudhoe Bay Operations Center, which looks like it has an awesome breakfast.

Jessamyn's trying to find someone in Antarctica to become a MeFite (or, already has found someone); you should pop her an email to see if she can spread the word so that MeFi can not only have a 7-continent meetup, but a pole-to-pole one as well!

I thought for sure that Iceland would have the most northerly meetup but this'll take the cake. By the looks of it nobody's on the ball in Reykjavík.
